Ethnic minority student - an episode

When starting to teach ecommerce, a Pakistani student walked into my class; the class reminded me to deliver lecture in English instead of Cantonese. S o I changed to English Channel to teach. This student said "no.. no. I can understand Cantonese"..   During the lecture, I learned that he lives in HK for a long time; he even told me that when our PRC sportmen won Olympic gold medals, he was so "touched" that he cried... So I said: "you do not need our National Education and you are more chinese than me.."   Frankly, I thought the student was making a gag, which I very much appreciated.
