Feedback on Oral Presentations (IS) on April 18 2015

The following are the main feedbacks on oral presentations (Independent study) on April 18, 2015 (Sat): 1. Some of the presentation doc is more than 1 page, 1 side. 2. Many students need to improve literature review skills . 3. Some students need to learn newspaper articles research skills . An example of using newspaper articles to inform analysis and reasoning. 4. Quite some students are not familiar with Research Methods . knowledge and many are still in the process of learning multiple regression analysis . Quite some students study the topic of housing affordability . 7. Some students are still struggling with project proposal ideas. 8. OISM assignment 2015 - (individual) - supple.

OISM Supplementary Individual Assignment 2013-14 (to replace online tests) The OISM module supplementary assessment has 2 parts: 1.     1 written assignment weighted at 50% of the total module marks (this document).  2.     A 2 hour exam weighted at 50% to replace the Design Challenge group exercise and 1 hour exam (as were the main assessment). This supplementary assignment has to be written in a report format .  The assignment consists of several parts in order to achieve the learning outcomes of the module and to develop your subject understanding. Assessment Mode : 100% individual assignment – 2,000 words maximum.
