Change a new proposal in Independent Study

Due to very poor comments from UK and low marks, a few Independent Study (IS) students want to replace their current proposals with totally new proposals. In this case, you need to write your new proposal and send your proposal via email to EK (school admin) as well as explaining a bit in your email why you would like to adopt a proposal. On receiving your email with attached new proposal, EK will forward your email to the UK lecturer for review. If the UK lecturer approves your new proposal, you could start to work on your new proposal for your IS report writing. For those who are interested in enhancing and adjusting their existing proposal ideas in their final report works, they do not need to resubmit their enhanced proposals to UK to review.

Some problematic views on Business Education

The following are my comments on some views about Business Education which are problematic in my view: It is trendy to study for a Doctor of Business Admin (DBA) these days: This may be the case but, I do not see many people interested in Research nor in being researchers, scholars, intellectuals, etc. Should I borrow money from the Government to study for a DBA at HK$300,000? It is probably not right to do so, unless it is your life goal to be a DBA. If you are interested in Research, you could do so without a DBA. I think the ranking of a University is important for selecting its programme to study.. Ranking info is probably not a useful one for selection of university programme to study. Try to seek for words of mouth info.; Check whether the university provides a e-library with access to about 5 major academic journal publishers; the quality of its alumni association could be an important criterion to consider. The academic standing of a Master Degree programme must

Explaining qualification inflation using Quantity Theory of Money logic

(Academic) Qualification inflation can be explained using logic of Quantity Theory of Money . First of all, a definition of terms: MV = pO M is the supply of qualification certificates in the economy V is the velocity of academic certificates being processed in labour market transactions O is the aggregated intellectual competence of the aggregated human resource in an economy p is the Academic qualification inflation index in an economy. As M and V increase while O remains constant (and probably drops), p (academic qualification inflation) must have increased substantially. The consequence is that the academic qualification has lower and lower reference value on the cert-holders' intellectual ability - which is what academic qualification inflation  is all about. What happens is there are more and more people with many advanced academic qualifications but who are not intellectuals (obviously not scholars) and who do not do much reading on textbooks and academic journ
