A reminder on writing style for Independent Study students

A reminder on writing style for Independent Study students:


The "point form + quotation" writing style in my mind mapping article (re: exhibit 1 here) is employed for mind mapping purpose. IS Students are reminded again that this is not the academic writing style they use for writing IS proposals nor for final IS assignment reports. They could refer to academic journal articles to learn the academic writing style.

Secondly, Independent Study students should not just pick some ideas rather randomly from my mind mapping article to make up their IS proposal literature review. They need to organize their line of reasoning to focus on their chosen research theme and objectives.

This article makes use of the mind mapping-based literature review (MMBLR) approach to render an image on the knowledge structure of gender.
