high-level research task-cum-specific academic idea at level-1b theoretical
framework.
Indicative/
suggestive of what research method(s), e.g. interview research, questionnaire
survey, to use.
Indicative of
intention to conduct theory-driven data gathering and analysis with a
specific academic idea, e.g. 7-dimensional model of innovation capability,
Maslow’s motivation theory, etc.
An example: To
learn middle-managers’ perception [via semi-structured interview] of the
innovation capability of ABC Ltd with the 7-dimension model of innovation
capability.

3. Specific
research method questions
|
Specific
questions included in a specific research method raised, primarily for a
respondent to reply, e.g. in an interview, a questionnaire instrument.
They first appear
in Dissertation report chapter 3: Research Methods.
E.g. To what
extent do you agree that the leadership style of ABC Ltd is good at fostering
employee’s innovative mindset? 0=disagree; 5= strongly
agree.
