Business Management Education trends

The trends of Business Management Education are captured in these 3 words (Gloeckler, 2012):

  • Shorter
  • Specialized
  • Web friendly

These education programmes are targeted at busy managers who need management education with good job fit. Students in the early stages of their career are especially interested in specialized degree programmes. Those students with much working experience tend to still favour MBA programmes that offer broad general management education. On the other side, business schools appear to adopt differentiation strategies in response to the increasingly competitive pressures in the management education sector.

This article makes use of the mind mapping-based literature review (MMBLR) approach to render an image on the knowledge structure of gender.
